Nutritional Information

     *  Our Amazing Grass Protein Superfood is also available in Original and Chocolate flavours. A serving will provide 20g of plant based protein, 7 alkalising greens and 2 of your daily servings of fruits and vegetables. The formula is USDA Certified Organic with over 95% of their ingredients being organic. Consuming more protein sources in the diet, may help to satisfy hunger, help balance our blood sugar levels by lowering our sugar cravings and supporting our energy levels. The chosen greens naturally contain plant actives that may help to support your digestion while the protein content may help to promote leaner muscles when leading a healthier and more active lifestyle.

     *  The Organic Traditions Yacon Syrup is one that we love! It is a low glycaemic sweetener with a unique delicate floral taste. Yacon is mainly composed of Fructooligosaccharides(FOS), a type of dietary sugar that the body does not metabolise. FOS naturally helps to support the growth of healthy intestinal bacteria without a significant impact on our blood sugar levels. As Yacon is not as sweet as conventional sugar, much less is required and it can be a great alternative to honey, maple sugar or agave. Its beneficial effects on our immune system and digestive health make it a must to have!

     *  The Organic Traditions Dual Extract Cinnamon Powder is extremely concentrated and the dose can be tailored to your taste and needs. With a dose of ¼ teaspoon, this will provide you 14g of Fresh Cinnamon. As you probably know, Cinnamon has a natural sweet taste and you may want to experiment this recipe with or without the Organic Traditions Yacon Syrup. Other suggestions would include using the Cinnamon to make a warm tea-like infusion by adding the powder to warm water (not boiling), to which you may add Organic Traditions Yacon Syrup or Coconut Palm Sugar. This is a lovely infusion to have after a meal, when one feels run down or exhausted, with the onset of a cold, flu, sore throat or simply as a daily tonic.

Latest research further looks into the beneficial properties of the active constituents of Cinnamon. These include its: blood glucose balance; anti-microbial activity and anti-inflammatory support; blood pressure management; digestive aid with its carminative effect, and its effect on blood circulation, traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine.
